Over the next five years, the meme continued to spread on Reddit, Memedroid and Twitter, among other platforms, becoming a popular reaction for surprising and uncomfortable situations. On June 25th, 2015, Imgur user Khannnnnnnnnnnnnn posted the video wit the caption, 'Never trust a fart.' The post received more than 455,000 views in less than six years.
